Back in Liverpool

We arrived safely back in Anfield at 4.15pm today after a brilliant trip to Seville where we have made many new friends and strong links with other schools. 

The children of All Saints Community band are truly talented and were a credit to our school and to Liverpool. A big thank you to all of the staff and parents who contributed to the trip and made it a great success!

Day 3

Today we had the privilege of attending a master class with the famous Banda Municipal de Sevilla. It was a superb experience where we played 'Tiene en Color Especiale' and 'Yesterday' with the band.

We then went on to visit Buen Pastor primary school where we played for the children. Fab acoustics due to playing in the school's beautiful chapel!

After lunch we went back on the coach to our next performance venue, San Francisco de Paula primary school. The Spanish children really enjoyed listening and singing along.

To end our perfect day we performed once again to the welcoming crowd in Alameda square.

Day 2 - Sevilla

Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning in Seville followed shortly by a traditional Spanish breakfast of bread, oil and ham. Then we went to the picturesque palace 'Reales Alcazares'. After a stunning tour of the palace, we strolled around the streets of Seville and enjoyed our first experience of Spanish tapas for lunch.

After some shopping and a siesta we got ready for our first performance in the Almeda square. We performed our repetoire to a welcoming crowd of Los Sevillianos. We had a surreal moment where the crowd sang along to the El Arrabato Himno de Sevilla (the equivalent of Liverpool's - You'll never walk alone) What a great day!

City tour around Seville

Had a fantastic experience yesterday on our city tour via horse and cart. What a wonderful first day! Seville is buzzing and so are we! 

Sevilla 2014

We have safely arrived in Seville in the glorious sunshine! Currently we are settling into our rooms and later taking a horse and cart ride around Seville to see the beautiful sights.  Y hace mucho calor!
